But what sets Grant Village apart is its peaceful ambiance.

GOOD TO KNOW: There is a tour that I want to recommend to you that I truly enjoyed: Yellowstone Lake Twilight Tour. This tour is a 4 to 5-mile journey and usually takes about 3 hours. After a brief orientation with your guide, your small group will paddle along the shore of Yellowstone Lake to the West Thumb Geyser Basin. After touring the Geyser Basin, where dozens of geothermal features are visible above and below the water’s surface, you will return along the same route, stopping for refreshment and a chance to explore the shore of the lake. Additionally, some major park attractions are farther away from Cooke City, which may result in longer driving times to reach popular destinations.
